Fellow Liberals/Progressives, give us your best vision for America if we can indeed gain enough of a majority that we can unify under a progressive vision for our future.

Republicans/Conservatives: Please be aware you've got your own topic to express your vision.

Okay, I'll kick this off with my own answers:

I want to see THE END OF NO ! I want to see the beginning of a true debate about how to bring Universal Health Care; how to wisely invest in future technologies(especially sustainable energy) ; how to affordably educate our citizens.

I want this debate without the extraneous BullShit of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and FOX who consider anything other than chaos......a loss for their electoral chances.

Democrats, Progressives and Moderates will all have plenty to debate on the manner of our progress in the areas we all can agree on. We don't need the added distraction of LIARS, those who actually benefit from Americans dividing.

I want to see America to return to the ability to unify around the obvious. Example: The next time, First Lady Michelle Obama says something as plainly obvious as:

"Our Kids need to eat healthier foods and exercise more.....so that we can reduce childhood obesity and improve their health."

I want to hear a collective 'AMEN'............rather than the insanity of Rush, Palin and Fox&Friends with their unified message of "How Dare She!"

And when it comes to getting our debts in order, I want the wise effort to trim Medicare spending to be heard without the noise of Sarah Palin screaming "DEATH PANELS".

IMHO, a true Democratic/Progressive/Moderate majority can end the gridlock.

Texas will secede, and leave with all of the southern states.

And we'll finally have Jesusland. icon_lol.gif

i dunno....Presidents often get more aggressive in their second term, when they have "nothing to loose" by pushing for what they have promised.

    we can only hope.....

this middle of the road, former republican sees NOBODY on the GOP ticket worth voting for (as of today).

I don't think it's good for any party to have too much unrestricted control of things. At times I think it's good for there to be a president from one party and a congress/senate being controlled by a different party.

Things seem to go well when the president is democrat and congress is republican. I do tend to lean toward having everything lean conservative, however, as long as the social conservatism is largely left out.

I also don't just vote for a conservative or liberal judge but prefer to have a mix in there.
