    **UPDATE**
Thanks, everyone for your support. Please note, this is an old thread. As of Aug. 16th, I am in southern Virginia, edging closer to the North Carolina border. For an update on the route I'm following, go to http://is.gd/jWofW3

Hey, guys, you've all been awesome. I need help with something. I have nowhere to stay for the upcoming days. I will bin West Caldwell, NJ tonight, at some acquaintance's house. But starting tomorrow, it's all up in the air. Tomorrow night I will be in the Morristown/Hanover, NJ area. Friday night I will be in Bernardsville/Harding. I'm walking in the direction of Allentown, PA. I expect to make it to Allentown sometime next week.

If you know anyone who can offer me a place to stay, or at least a place to camp (I have my tent and sleeping bag ready), please let me know.

    Thanks, guys!

    -Constantino

Please continue to give us updates on where you are at and whats happening, not just where you are staying, Constantino. How have your first few nights been? Getting any good interviews so far?

    Whats been up?

I think a better idea would, in helping him spread the word, be a couple of us doing a page of updates on his behalf here since he gets an early start each day before most of us are up. We can following is blog which he updates more frequently. Thanks for posting it on Facebook Chris. I added it to my page and also have his travel page on mine.

The blog for his walking updates is:

and here is an additional article he posted:

Agreed, Erik. Does this mean I finally have to break down and get a Facebook account? icon_confused.gif

I'm at this keyboard most of the time (except starting tomorrow until Tuesday, when we'll be in Key West again, with only brief periods on the laptop), so I might be able to help to network this here fairly often, and during the work day.

Unfortunately I have no immediate solution for tomorrow night in Morristown. I grew up in that area, had family there, but too many years ago to be useful.

A quick RJ search gave me 95 names for Morristown, but I saw that also included Morristown when it was their second or travel city. Not to mention half of them had no photos and very thin profiles. But most critically, NONE were online, nor did I recognize them as online reggies. Unless 19c79 can plan more firmly ahead, he doesn't have a big time window to line something up via RJ.

So a challenge, but I'm willing to see what I can do to help.

    Same!

When you are nearing Oklahoma City please let me know if you need a place to stay. If I'm back from my AZ trip in time, I have my own apartment with room to spare, you're welcome to stop by. icon_smile.gif

Ah man! I work with a nurse (close friend) who lives in East Hanover, but I know for a fact that she is on vacation with her husband this week, so that's a bust. Otherwise I know she totally would've helped you out. I'm a couple towns east of West Caldwell, but you're set there.

Sorry I can't help, but best of luck!

    Hey, everyone.

Sorry I hadn't been able to check in. Thank you all again for your support and concern.

Erik, thanks for posting the links to my blog, etc. That's a great idea.

I tried looking up RJers in the area, but as Art_Deco said, most were very thin profiles. Luckily, I've secured a place to stay tonight, and my in-laws have offered to pay for a hotel for tomorrow night. Then I'll stay at a church Saturday and another one Sunday. So I'm set up.

And basically then I'll have reached the end of suburbia (for now). Which is both good and bad. It's bad, because it means I have to carry more food and water in my pack. I'm also no longer walking through populated areas. I'm not gonna lie. That scares me a little bit. But I'll be fine, I'm sure. I knew what I was getting into. Now, the good thing about leaving suburbia is that I'll be walking through more state parks, where I can legally camp. So the "where to stay at night?" question is relatively easily solved. I'll be staying wherever I pitch my tent!

You're all great. Your support means a lot. And please, continue to keep me in your thoughts or prayers.

    -Tino.

Update. Posted via FaceBook about an hour ago:

From Tino and where he is currently: GPS not working, but I'm safe and sound at a hotel in Whippany, NJ. The manager heard what I'm doing and gave me a discounted rate, $39, including breakfast on the house tomorrow. I've met a lot of kind people so far.
