i came across a tribute to Chuck Jones, and had forgotten his talent and ingenuity. his academy award winning " the dot and the line", and "one froggy night" are two of my favorites. does anyone else have a classic cartoon that still brings a smile over the years?

Bugs Bunny is one of the "People Who Inspire Me" on my Facebook page, along with Winston Churchill, Charles Dickens, and Beethoven.

My favourite cartoon when I was a kid? "Johnny Quest", the perfect cartoon for a budding queer.

Bugs Bunny - I like that episode where he's pretending to be the hairdresser and gives the monster a perm with sticks of dynamite and before it blows up he says "There now ...you're as pretty as a picture!" Aside from doing a great hairdresser with very little effort he had some other charachteristcs that might be interpreted as gay ( he used to kiss Elmer Fudd a lot ).

#2 would be Johnny Quest - a nearly always all male cast with lots of sweaty action and Johnnys friend Hadji (a passive bottom). Race Bannon ( a butch top) was Dr. Quests "companion" (???) and he had massive forearms and a strong jaw.

Another vote for Animaniacs. The writing was excellent, and was actually more suitable for a mature audience.

I love love love Freakazoid, X-men, Sailor Moon, Voltron, Silver Hawks, The Smurfs, Rainbow Bright ( my grandma gave me that cartoon soo I'm assuming she knew early on) The Super Friends from the 70's, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin, Duck Tales, Spider-Man and his Amazing friends, Batman from the 90's, and the Muppet Babies,

I still wake up on Saturday morning to watch cartoons and eat cereal in my boxers.
