Guys in Kitsap County are looking for others to join in on regular mid-week hikes, mostly in the eastern Olympics. We're mostly in our 40s through 60s, in a range of conditioning, and regular hikers.

On Thursday, 14 July, we’ll drive to the South Fork Skokomish River area to hike one of the trails near the Wonder Mt. Wilderness area. Meet up for car pooling at the Brememrton Airport on Hwy. 3 at 8:45, planning on a 9 a.m. departure. I’ll be in a black station wagon. If you’re driving from northern Kitsap Co., let me know and perhaps some of us can meet in Silverdale for the drive to the airport. As before, bring your own lunch or snack for the mid-way break. Call me at 360-598-0478 with any questions, or my cell (949-294-3821) the day of.

To those of you who didn’t make it to last week’s hike, know that six of us showed for the outing up and beyond the Skokomish Rapids trail. Hope you can join us this next week.
