So Friday we drive with friends to Key West for 4 days. The reason is a SMART Ride monthly meeting. On Saturday we get a special tour of the Truman House from an RJ guy who'll be our tour guide there.

Isn't it great we get these kinds of connections from RJ members? I can't wait to meet him. If you aren't using the power of RJ, you're losing a big resource. I'll try to invite him as our guest to a dinner party that night, but don't tell him --- it's a surprise! And our treat! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh, yes? I'm just getting out of touch, and I hate that! I try so hard to stay current, at least with technology, but I guess culturally I'm falling behind.

I try to bridge the gap with these young guys from my end -- I guess they don't attempt that. Or don't know how to do it. Being youthful-centric, they assume the rest of the world thinks as they do, and references the same things with the same words.

What a rude awakening awaits them in a few decades, when the next generation develops their own vocabularies & phraseologies, and leaves them in the dark. Well, nothing new, the eternal cycle. But I still hate to be clueless, no matter what my age is. You'd think someone would have the good manners to explain these things to me. icon_confused.gif
