Right-Wing Activists: Gays Not “Best and Brightest”
Glenn, president of the antigay AFA’s Michigan chapter, went on the equally antigay Harvey’s radio show over the weekend to say gay people are not a good employment risk.

"One of the targets of Glenn’s wrath was furniture maker Herman Miller, a major employer in Michigan, which has a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and supported a gay rights ordinance in the city of Holland, saying the absence of discrimination helps companies attract highly qualified workers."

I am from Michigan and did not know this about Herman Miller. They make some great pieces of furniture. Even more reason to purchase their products.

I wonder what Chris Hughes, co-founder of Facebook, would say about this!

Judging by the reasoning skills exhibited by many of the gays here on RJ, I would tend to agree with that statement.
That's just despicable. You really should be ashamed of yourself.

You have officially lost all credibility in my eyes.

That probably doesn't mean a lick of ice cream to you - but seriously...with that one statement your credibility is shot. It seems quite obvious now that you're willing to sell gay people under the bus just in order for you to be "right".

I'd be willing to go toe-to-toe with good ol' Glen about brightest (number of languages spoken, books written & read, number of Olympic teams, successful businesses) and best (want to run a 5-mile up-hill time trial Glenn?).

What a moron. But I suspect that only morons listen to his baloney.

This is disgusting and more proof of a political fact:

THE REPUBS WILL SAY ANYTHING.
No matter how untrue it may be.
Even if it's the absolute OPPOSITE of the truth.
They don't care.
THE REPUBS WILL SAY ANYTHING.
To try to push their agenda or to help Repubs get elected.

Of course, the hilarious part of this is that the right wing used to argue that exact opposite. That gays were more educated, more affluent, had less expenses (e.g. "DINC"s - dual income no children) so we didn't deserve "special rights" because we were so ahead of the game.

Isn't the smartest guy in the world gay? His name escapes me, but he was featured on 60 Minutes.
