I've heard rumors that the self-titled and final album by Aaliyah is set to be re-released nxt Sunday in honor of the late singer which i find to be exciting but at the same time skeptical if it is true or not. In my opinion i hope so because when the album first came out in July 2001 i was only 11 at the time and deemed to young to buy it but now that i am grown there is nothing stopping me. I really hope that this is true but i know that Wikipedia is a site that lies icon_evil.gificon_neutral.gif

I have heard nothing about it being re-released on any of the music sites I follow. Back in the year she died, there was talk of there being another album released of unreleased tracks by her, but it has never happened.

I have heard this as well and found out about her final album being re-released through Wikipedia which is said to be an unreliable website. The album that you are referring to with unreleased tracks would be the I Care 4 U album which came out in 2002 i brought that album in 2009 just barely after fighting another fan over it icon_smile.gif

I was not talking about I Care 4 U. I know about it, but the album of unreleased tracks I was talking about, is a whole different album. Unfortunately I have not heard any talk of it being put out for years now.

Yes i agree with you on that because no one has yet to release an album but according to Wikipedia it may or may not happen. I'm clueless though
