Interesting question. I think a good bio makes it more interesting. But good pics make it more fun.

    DO BOTH NOW!!!!!!!!

Photos make you want to check the profile out. A good bio makes you actually want to talk to the guy.

Photos don't always depict the person accurately. The bio gives you a lot more insight into what they are really made of.

a good bio makes for an interesting read, but no bio will be read unless the pic is good

A lot can be said in a picture, although nothing tells more about a man than what and how he writes.

For the OP; more hypothetical: He could also have been part of a social group where school wasn't a norm or the resources weren't there to pay for school, thus hindering his writing knowledge but allowing for highly adept social skills.

But which one stands up in a court of law and which one is dismissed as circumstantial evidence?

It goes hand in hand. When you have an appealing profile picture, it makes you want to check it out. Likewise, when guys actually take the time to write a bio about themselves, it determines whether or not you actually want to get to know the guy. icon_biggrin.gif

Your beautifully written bio does you no good if there is not a photo to draw people into your profile to read it.

I like to read the bios...you can tell a lot about a person by the way they write. The pictures are like icing on the cake.

There are lots of fuckups with pretty pictures on the internet. When the guy with not pix puts his thoughts and goals into print, then you have an idea of what's going on in his brain, and you can gauge how he will react at the coffee shop meeting if he turns out to be a troll.
