Believe it or not...in spite of my interest in the male foot, I have never had one. My feet are insanely ticklish and I'm afraid I might get embarrassed by my reactions. icon_redface.gif

I've had many a Pedi before.(pun intended) I look at it as a treat. A get away for an hour or so. There's a great place about a block from home and in the hot Dallas summer's I live in sandles when I leave the house. So, it's nice to know that part is all cleaned up.
Plus, who doesn't like a foot and calf massage from time to time. btw Will.. it's never tickled me once. I'm just as ticklish as the next guy too. Come to Dallas pal and I'll treat you to one.

Many times. I believe in taking care of my body and this just a simple part of it. why not leave it to the professionals?

plus, it kinda freaks people out to see a muscle guy walk in and say he wants a pedicure.

i either bring a newspaper or just watch TV and veg out.

    Sir

I get a pedicure about every 6 weeks -- mostly for the foot massage.

I've had one and it was amazing but I think the lady really didn't want to touch my feet, can't blame her. My feet resemble the knots on trees trunks and hobbit feet. I'm really ticklish on the soles of my feet and it was hard not to laugh or pull away from her hands (or kick her in the face). I got a deluxe one where they exfoliated your soles and put a hot mud towel wrap on them and that was worth the price alone. When I walked out I was feeling so much better (had a hangover) and felt like I had baby skin grafted on icon_smile.gif And I got black polish too.

I got my first pedicure two months ago and it was freaking amazing. It's funny though because my straight marine guy friends brought me and they go all the time. They were like, you're gay and you've never had a pedicure before???

About once a month or so I hit up this place in the Fort Lee (NJ) Koreatown. AWESOME foot massages and pedicures for under $30.

Speaking of which, I should book for this weekend icon_biggrin.gif

Yep and they are awesome. I mainly get them to get rid of calluses and thick skin. If I haven't had one in a while and am doing quite a bit of walking my feet start to hurt a lot faster. They make a huge difference. Plus the woman that does mine gives an amazing foot and calf massage.

PS. My feet are EXTREMELY ticklish.

I get one a couple times a year. The toenails on my little toes are all scrunched up (I must have worn ill-fitting shoes as a kid) and I can't trim them properly myself. They snag on my socks if they're not trimmed. Plus I get the calluses removed - a little safer than using my Swiss army knife.

As a runner, I understand more than most the importance of taking care of our feet, from heal to toe, ankle to arch. That said, I've only ever had one professional pedicure, as it was part of a spa package I got as a Christmas gift. It include nail trim and file, cuticle work and an AMAZING paraffin treatment.

I mostly clip, clean and trim my toenails, and buff my heel and rough spots. Occasionally I'll smother the whole foot in vasoline or heavy lotion.

Love them and only treated myself to a few, which is surprising since the one time I actually said "I'll try anything once" aloud was when I allowed myself to be picked up by a guy whose opening salvo was that he was a foot fetishist.

I learned how to do my own professional style pedicures, manicures (and even the exfoliating) and instead of going out for these services I just do them at home, which saves time (I don't have to drive to appointments at a salon and wait around, etc.) It is good seeing other guys who take care of their hands and feet..............it takes only a few minutes a week and a few simple tools. But if you like having this service done for you - great, just so long as it gets taken care of. Why not take care of ourselves, and look & feel our best?
