    The video is really sweet

The comments section however is really a crying shame icon_rolleyes.gif

The video is actually a mirror because the original was taken down, possibly the original uploader didn't want to deal with the attention that came from it.

Some people think that video was staged, yeah right kids say the darndest things.

Homophobia is derived from religious values. People are not born with homophobia it is something that is taught.

There are still tons of gays who are homophobic but still try to live within the lines of the religious values instilled in them since birth. This includes guys who are out but try their best to practice what they've been taught as being "normal". The ones that always say you shouldn't do this or that because it'll make our community look bad. Come on guys, understand the original of your values and raise some questions.

This video is prime example of pre-exposure to homophobia. He just realizes its different from what he has been taught. He hasn't been taught to fear and hate it yet.

yea, that's a little weird... I haven't seen the comments, but I'm willing to bet a lot of them are some derivative of that.

Hopefully when someone does try to indoctrinate him with hatred, he'll remember that his uncle(?) and friend are "husband and husband" and that there's nothing to fear or hate about that.

Hopefully he won't get beat-up at school when he starts talking about "husband and husband".

My ex's niece, probably about 8 at the time, went to a pride march. People were saying "Gay men" (to the tune of Amen). Sure enough, the next day at church....

One of my partner's nieces, a couple years ago (when she was 5-6) blurted out that (our dog) "Remus has 2 daddies".

My eldest niece is 2, but I took her to the OutLoud concert (in which Matt sings). So he's now "Mati musica" in addition to "uncle Matt". Guess it'll be a few more years on this front.

Come on man. Its time to get off that shit. You've bashed peoples spiritual practices and convictions enough in your prior post. This video has NOTHING to do with religion.

I think because of all the noise going on in the background. So videotaping in a place with less noise, like a bathroom, would give the video better sound quality to be uploaded. I'm guessing the couple in the vid may have had a drink or two before it. =P

this is the best response i've seen in a very long time. if madeinmich cannot even distinguish the difference between spiritual practice and religious dogma, then there really is no point in debating, because you aren't even using a shared vocabulary with concrete definitions, nor even debating on the same topic, not to mention his completely ignoring the origins of the premise that homophobia is taught. well played, avadakedavra. well played indeed.
