A little bit of rage

So, my bi best friend, Cynthia, told my good friend Erica that I was bi. Erica didn't have a problem with it because her sister is a lesbian. I didn't know that Cynthia had told Erica already, so I came out to her today. The only reason I told Erica was because I was a little ticked off at something she had said earlier.

You see, a while back, Erica went with her sister to a gay club, and Erica felt very uncomfortable. She didn't say this to me, but it's a direct quote. She said, "I kind of lost respect for her because she's my older sister and she's supposed to be setting an example." I came out to Erica after I heard that because it made me mad. I wondered would she lose respect for me as well?

Well, we talked about it for a second, and everything is cool now. I actually got pretty pissed off at Cynthia for telling Erica my business. All I asked was, "Why did you tell her without asking me first?" Her response was, "OMG. Get over it. You swear like people can't tell you're into guys anyway. And I trust her. She doesn't judge, and she won't tell anyone. You're hung, too, so who cares if people care? Most people can't even say that about themselves. You come out a winner after all." Stuff like that.

It was a long, drawn out argument, but do you think I was right to get upset about that? I'm not denying who I am, but there are some things I don't want some people knowing yet. Is that hard to understand?
