Any obit that ends with the line "crying is optional, cloths are not" is pretty good. I have read that he wrote it before dying and that it was written by one of his siblings (there does not seem to be any direct comment or agreement as to who wrote it.) Either way, apparently one of the local clergy got a little upset. I think that people are going to need to get used to "offbeat" things happening around death as more of us "offbeat" people have to tackle it...

For those who read it in wonder- NO, he did not really die in Toronto from a puck (they have not been in the cup for quite some time). Apparently it was cancer...
