I was wondering if creatine usage ever affected you blood work. I have a routine physical coming up and was wondering if I should not take creatine in the days, weeks prior to the blood work testing.

    Your thoughts appreciated.

I'd made great progress with just protein powder and glutamine until last January when, impatient with losing that last hard ten pounds and getting truly ripped, I stacked creatine with a nitric oxide supplement, a fat burner and the herb maca. I'm still not sure if it was solely the creatine but when I had a physical in March my bloodwork showed an alarming elevation in my liver enzymes (I don't drink). I cut everything but the maca and the elevation dropped by half but it wasn't until I dropped the maca that they dropped completely back to normal. So going forward I'll probably have to avoid shortcuts like creatine.

Read up on Milk Thistle. One of the few supplements that actually have shown positve clinical effects.

    Drink alot of water!

I do not take creatine, but I think the information might help you.
