New shirts... My husband and I had a wardrobe party where gathered up all of our "casual fit" (slob) shirts and donated them and filled our closets back up tailor fit replacements. Wow, was it expensive, but so worth it. I figure if we are going to put the time and effort into our physical health and appearance we may as well wear clothes that are made for our body type rather than the ever "forgiving" modern fit that seems to have taken over.
I guess it really depends on which muscles hypertrophy quicker for the particular person. It didn't take long for me to notice that the trousers were getting tighter, not just at the waist but also in the thighs, whereas I'm just now (after 1 year) noticing that some shirts are becoming really tight.
Jeans. When I first lost weight, went from a 36-38 down to 32. A month later, the 32s were starting to fall off my ass, and I went down to 30. I now fluctuate between 29-31 depending on the brand and style.
