Saw her in LA and she was INCREDIBLE. Sang live, was dancing great, audience interaction, everything we love about Britney - and my God, she looks INCREDIBLE live. Pictures and vids do not do her justice!

not really. she is going to forever remain sluggish. if you compare this to her older performances you'll see the difference. i used to watch them all. i miss the britney that used to tear up the stage.

oh well, i still love her music and music videos.

I just went to her show last night in Houston and she did a great job. Wasn't as kick ass as her first performance but it was good! She played a nice range of her songs which is nice too!

Yea for sure we all feel like that to some extent...I mean we all remember her performance of "satisfaction/oops" at the 2000 vma's...One of the most Epic Performances from any pop star.

    But...

You atleast got appreciate her for what she does because she doesnt need to do any of this(sing, dance, make albums ect ect) . I mean doesnt it make you appreciate her when you think of all the pop acts out there. Like when I hears pop music by an artist I wanna see Dance to go with it and no every pop act dances to their music....Whether Britney is Sluggish or killing it she is still dancing and still performing for us....you dont see Katy Perry,Kesha,Rihanna even Madonna Dancing or dancing still...Shes atleast putting on a performance!! And I think she still has it

I'm a big Britney fan and always enjoy what she turns out. She looks incredible, and it's great to see her back on top. That said, I still think her performances are coming across, both live and in videos, as very sluggish bordering on lazy. She appears to be just going through the motions. Gone are the really sharp moves and precise choreography that put her on the map in the first place. I'd really like to see her step it up a notch in the dancing because on stage artists like Beyonce', Janet, even Madonna put her to shame --- not so much because they are better, but rather because they look like they actually want to be there.

yeah, she is totally just moving around. She used to be able to dance better if not as good as her backup dancers.

Just watch this performance. You can see the passion from the very beginning. Its like WOW cant take your eyes off of her.

I agree...Ive seen that performance mad times..I have a dvd of hers with that one on it...It would be nice if that extra bit of her would come back but I think a lot of it has to do with her regaining confidence maybe? She seems wicked confident on this tour if you ask me...I still thnk the performance I posted above was really good......What we need is a BADASS 2011 VMA performance, agree??

CLEARLY you have not seen a Madonna show...ever.

This is just completely boring. Is Britney ever going to move back the same routines she's been doing since 1999? Every performance is just a rehash of her Hit Me Baby One More Time video, just in different costumes and hair styles. Where is the artistry? Where is the true performance? Where is the true "show" one should expect from an "artist" of this so-called caliber?

In terms of Britney performing on the VMA's, I would rather see her NOT perform than give a performance that is not polished and sub-standard to what everyone knows she is capable of. There is a great big difference between Britney looking good on stage vs. Britney actually giving a good performance.

Actually, NO it doesn't. Anyone who has ever been to a Madonna concert would probably find Britney's show looking like an opening act. Don't get me wrong, I have always been a Britney fan, but that doesn't mean I can't see her unpolished lazy performance, much of it lipsynched and/or singing to track, for what it is. Britney has always been and probably always will be essentially a "Video Artist" who attempts to translate those videos onstage. She goes through the motions and satisfies most of her fans who just want to see her out their strutting her stuff, tossing her hair, and doing what she does...and that's okay...but don't mistake it for the artistry that so many other artists do far better and with a great deal more polish.

I have to agree that her dancing just isn't as tight as it used to be. However, it's also nice to see that she stepped up her game a little for this concert (a response to recent criticism perhaps). It's probably the best I've seen from her recently, which isn't saying much.

It really is a shame that she's been in autopilot mode these days because I think "Femme Fatale" is probably her best album yet. There's very little filler and I can play it from start to end without skipping any tracks (well, maybe "Criminal").

I saw Britney in concert many years ago. It was the best concert I've ever seen. I'll skip this one though, partly because her new album is dull and boring. I got sick of the four or five good songs after one listen. icon_sad.gif

She looks really uncoordinated, and like she's running through the steps in her head and just doing it half assed.

I like some of her music, but this isn't good dancing.

Not really a big Beyonce' fan, but I will say, when I've seen clips of her performing, she performs the sh*t out of it. It's just Britney, bitch. If everyone is looking for something new or revolutionary, maybe that's the problem. I suspect only her inner circle truly knows her, but I would think she herself would tired of variations of the same routine, hair tossing, and if she sings, it's to a track. She's hot, in great shape and seems like a genuinely likeable person. I'm just not sure she has a lot to offer the pop world in 2011.
