This guy still believes that he successfully changed his natural sexual orientation from gay to straighticon_question.gif This man is totally lost and is in for some very serious emotional and mental health issues.

I give him the benefit of the doubt that he's speaking what is true for him. icon_biggrin.gif (I didn't appreciate the video titles. They themselves were disrespectful/invalidating to him and his experience.)

You're just as lost as he is if you believe that.

I had to fast forward through some of it because I couldnt deal with all of his blah blah blah I was a terrible person, so I went back to church....

But maybe I missed the part where he said he was attracted to women?

Sounds like another case of "I use religion as a defense" against my gayness....

Sigh. Ain't nothin gonna change the fact that he likes dick still. He'll just waste his life going to a church that teaches him to hate himself........

The whole video is such slickly-produced propoganda that I kind of wonder if the guy is just an actor reading a script. In my opinion these fundamentalist churches have nothing to do with real Christianity... they are just con-jobs set up to bilk money out of people... this is one of their tools.
It's like faith healing where they pretend to make some cute child get out of a wheelchair and then pass the hat around for money. icon_rolleyes.gif

It's sad to see when things like this happen. He's definitely not going to be in a good place years down the road. Whenever I see or read stories like this, I am grateful that I went against my parents' wishes. I could be in a much less desirable situation...

So true. But, then I think that all religion is a con job. They keep people in line by telling them that if they don't do what that particular religion tells them to do, they are going to go to Hell. Well I say...to Hell with them. Now, I have to go see that video...

Well, I watched it. It reminds me of when I was 22 and determined that I was not going to be gay anymore. I went to a psychiatrist, so that I could change. Fast forward 40 years. See, I'm NOT gay. And I'm not on a gay website. I am also still 22, 6'3", blonde and blue-eyed!icon_twisted.gif

It is pretty sad. But, is also about what I expected. I guess it's worth seeing, just to know what is going on in this country.

But, there is always hope for this guy and others like him. A light bulb finally went off in MY head, and after that I was fine. Can't say that it will happen for him, but you never know. It took me a few years. but when the dam broke, the gay came flying out! LOL

His mouth says one thing, but his eyes say another. It's sad because like Paul said- it's going to only end in suicide. icon_sad.gif

On the other hand, if he does make babies, they will be insanely beautiful babies...

The choices bisexuals have that us homosexuals, and heterosexuals don't have.

I recall I half brother here a bisexual, first telling us he just never knew he was gay? many wives and children latter. He just awoke one day, to find his sexuality had changed. But over time more of the truth was to come out; he was ashamed of he's bisexuality, and hid it.

So just as why can not a bisexual who has lived the gay lifestyle, changes over to live the straight one. Not a cure, but a choice I as a homosexual do not have. But then the gay community also has a very dark side to it as well, that some may grow to find to be repugnant, and since he was never gay, he decided on a change, and a lifestyle that can come with it....

I haven't been able to watch the video, as I'm on a dumb iPhone at the moment. I'm intrigued to say the least.

I do have a set of religious CD's by a marriage counselor who at one point told a young homosexual man who came to him. His counsel: embrace your femininity. Love it. Cherish what makes you who you are, you're sensitivity, your love of refined aesthetical things.

The recording then says that the young man was stunned. He couldn't believe someone would say that. He'd been beating himself up all his life trying to be more "masculine" for others, and this guy told him to stop and embrace his femininity.

Now, my big thing is that I don't know that I would say that my homosexuality has to do with a super amount of femininity. Or does it?

What do you guys think? Are most gay guys prone (beyond the stereotype) of being feminine more than their straight counterparts?

The power of brainwashing... u gotta love it. I don't believe this guy a single bit. I think this is a plotted story. This man has no principle, no vision, no emotion and compassion towards life and others. The points regretful to him were all invalidated by himself using some perception of ungodly explanations. This is clearly created by left wing extremist.
