9/11 - It was just my imagination

For the past 10 years I've had this recurring dream about terrorists killing over 3,000 people on 9/11/2001. In fact, I thought it was real.

However, I was rest assured by Fox News host Eric Bolling that there have been no terrorist attacks on US soil during George W. Bush's presidency.

    What a relief.

I think he was referring to the period between the Iraq war and beyond, which was the topic of discussion. Bob would have pointed it out if it wasn't a slip of the tongue.

He said between 2000 and 2008.

You THINK? I rather think we heard what we heard.

The DISCUSSION at that instant was about the Iraq war and WMD's. The "2000" was a clear slip up because no one is that dumb. Kinda like Obama slipping and said "57 states" when we all know he meant 47. And again, Bob Beckel was sitting right there. He knew what he meant or else he would have jumped on the chance to correct him. Please don't make me defund a damn Republican.

    Nice try.
But, the Repubs have said this shit before.
They think that Bush gets a pass somehow.
    He DOES NOT.
    HE WAS WARNED.

I'm sure he knows about 9/11 and meant post-Iraq invasion, but if you look at the year he began with, 2000, that was a desperate attempt to assert Bush's presidency was free of attacks on US soil. He could've slipped up with any year, but picked 2000.

It reminds of those "Missed Me Yet?" signs that some people post. People who claim to be fiscal hawks and complain about government spending miss the guy who put us into debt.

With Obama's 57 state slip up, we know that it was meant to include US territories.

^ Ok maybe you're right that it was a desperate attempt but I don't agree with you about the 57 states Obama remark. I think he was referring to US states, and meant to say 47. He specifically mentions that he did not visit two states and had one more to go.

I'm not criticizing the man. That's just the way I interpreted it from this video:

Ok, I'll give you the 57 state thing. I didn't know he didn't visit 2 states and had one more to go. But still, that's not subconsciously trying to say something like Bolling.
