I did, especially when Harry realizes that Snape is on their side, and also when he (Snape) died, I already knew this cuz I read the books but it still made me cry tho.

What part made you guys cry?

Surprisingly, the one scene that really got me (I was on the VERGE of tears) was seeing Lavender Brown dead....I was not expecting that...It was hard to see...I felt really bad for her. Also seeing everyone mourn for Remus, Nymphadora (one of my favorites) and Fred was hard to watch too...Also that part where they showed Snapes' memories...tearjerker!!! That bitch Bellatrix got her ass handled in the end though and I was sooooo happy!!! Hate that the series is over....

Even though I too had already read the books, I got all misty-eyed during Harry's forbidden forest stroll (I don't wanna spoil too much so I'll leave it at that). Although I think it really all started after Harry saw Snape's memories through the pensieve. I found it quite touching though that a lot of people were sniffling and crying though, you could hear the sound all throughout the room.

The 3 tween girls (2 dressed as Gryffindor students, 1 as Bellatrix) in back of my friends and me did. On the verge of bawling, however at the strangest parts. e.g.: When Harry and co. were in the room of requirement and they were flying to escape the fire.

Yeah idk what it was about lavender being mauled by greyback, but that made me teary eyed. And when he was with his dead friends and family right before going into the forest... On a brighter note, when mcgonagall brought all the statues to life and said she always wanted to use that spell I laughed icon_razz.gif

I bawled. A lot. It was saying goodbye to my childhood. Read the first book when I was 6. 14 years later here I am. And typing this is making me cry again. I'm such a pussy.

When they showed Snape and Lily as kids and then redeemed Snape. I felt somewhat close to crying, but I didn't.

Came close when the Weasley's were mourning the death of (oh damn I was always mix up the one that dies, the twin that still had his ear). I always get upset when I see parents dealing with the death of a child. I can't imagine how difficult that must be to cope with.

Now that the series is over, I am tempted to go back and read all the books again, as well as watch all the movies (I have already gone through both twice).

I've really enjoyed the series and was really looking forward to the movie. I have to say that I was disappointed in the movie.

It felt disjointed to me. They dragged out some things (Nevil and the snake) and skipped over others (Fred's fight). I also didnt like the part where Voldermort stood in the courtyard and tried to get the opposition to his side. It felt like it became a little kids movie. And what happened to Crabbe? He should have been part of the big fire w Malfoy and Goyle, not some random kid.

On the other side, I cried like a baby when I read and then saw the death of Dobby. The death of an innocent gets me every time.

I thought it was kinda lame overall as far as epic finales go. They missed out alot which they could have worked in, in the time, if they didn't spend so long going in slow motion (Nagini's death).
The scene with Snape's memories, the dead count in the Great Hall, "General" Mogongel, casting the shield, were brilliant.
They missed out on alot of potenial awesomeness, the story behind the Eldar Wand (actually working that in rather than a revelation at the end - I mean for fuck sakes it's the title of the movie), Molly Weasley and Bellatrix fight.

The reason some random kid was in it and not Crabbe was because the actor playing Crabbe was arrested for having Cannabis on him.
