Hi guys, I'm having a bit of a scare of whether I could potentially contract HIV or any other sexually transmitted disease. I'd like to tell you my situation. If you guys could advise me on it, this would be MUCH appreciated!

Ok, so the other night I hooked up with a guy that I barely knew (I'm not the type to ever do such a thing, but I was a bit drunk).

We went back to my place, and we mainly went only as far as oral (without a condom). Also, at one point he actually entered me - which was a bit painful so I told him to stop. He was only in for about 10 seconds, but was hesitant to pull out when I told him to. What he did instead was rub his penis against the outer area of my anus for a while. After this, we gave each other oral, and finished each other with our hands - neither orgasms occured inside of anyone.

Friends have told me that it's probably unlikely for me to actually contract HIV, as oral is an unlikely way (albeit still possible) of contracting it, and he did not cum inside of my mouth or anus. As well as this, there is the unlikelihood of him to have even had anything in the first place.

Nevertheless, I don't know if I'm being paranoid, but I'm worked up about the fact that he entered me, even if it was for a couple of seconds.

I'm not the type of person to do anything like this, so perhaps also the unusualness of the situation has caused me to overreact. Am I overreacting? Could there be much risk involved? What action should I take?

    Please help!

You most likely have HIV. I would seriously consider suicide as it may be your only way out.

    Good luck!

    Seriously?

I didn't see the original post, but your response isn't the least bit funny. I hope someone kicks you in the nuts in a moment of insecurity.

Bitch please its someone who had unprotected oral sex, a new account created, and their only post, they deleted their post right afterwords. He can do some research and educate himself.

Oh, yes... the easy "Bitch please" response. Again, I didn't see the original response. But, there are plenty of men who haven't educated themselves about HIV transmission. Is it frustrating answering these rudimentary questions over and over again? Absolutely. These people should be looking elsewhere for medical information like that. But, there's a more tactful way to react to a serious question.

Thanks, Pup. Sure, it's a post we see often here on RJ, but that doesn't justify Chainers insensitive response.

And I see he resorts with "Haters Gonna Hate" when he's challenged in other posts. But, I'm not clear if he realizes as the initial hater, that he's talking about himself.

Like I said in the other thread, if anyone feels hurt about the comments I make the door is always open to send me a private message and we can have a civil discussion there.

I'm not writing this to get you alarmed, but just to give you some information. It's not a good idea to allow a guy to insert himself in your anus even if he doesn't cum inside you. He could leave pre-cum inside you. There is also a greater chance of getting an STD. Please get more information on all this from a counselor at a HIV and STD testing site.

Matey I had a sexual relationship with a guy that ended 21 years ago, that went for about 3 years. We had red hot sex, and he promoted unsafe sex, well knowing without ever disclosing he was HIV+. Now he was happy to pass on a death sentance to me. But to this day and he being dead for many years now, and lord forbid how many he took with him. I am still to this very moment HIV-!

You may be one of those lucky ones, I remember reading something about a gene that originally protected people against the black plague now making individuals resistant to HIV, perhaps you have this gene?

Its almost the same. Remember just because you have sex with someone who has HIV doesnt mean you get it. True Blue Aussie is either lucky, lying, or he could be the 1% that is immuned from HIV.

Regardless of Chainers rather brash comment I think he does have a point and I think a few of you here miss the hilarity of his comment as well as the honesty behind it.

In this day and age it pretty much is suicide to be this ignorant of the dangers of sex when you have ready information at your fingertips. If the OP could find his way here on RJ then he can find a site to answer all his questions. Shame on him too for being a statistic and having unprotected sex with a guy he didn't even know while being drunk. That's a rookie mistake if ever I heard one. Dude threw caution to wind so as such the consequences seem fitting since he really did bring it on himself.

I lack compassion for the stupid for it's the stupid who seem to make things difficult for everyone else.

Also it seems rather fishy to have a mystery poster post such a thing as his one and only post then quickly delete it. Kudos to Chainers for calling the dude out I say. The rest of you just have think skin.

Being lucky? This is something I have pondered many time due to the fact before the Gay plauge hit the headlines and all the fear and histeria, and all the public death come along. I had already been working in my Cities newest and biggest Bathhouse form the time of from 1980.

Being an Aussie lad off the farm, with blond hair a smile that would light up the room, nice chest shoulders and calves to die for. I was very popular, and even had a following. I had had many unsafe sexual encounters with people, I was latter to find out that were unknowingly at that time infected with the HIV Virus; but none of them passed it onto me. so 31 years latter I am still HIV-. Is this luck or what? Because I had developed many friends during my time working and fighting for the gay community in the 1980s, that so many were dead by the 1990s; yet I live on. Oh and after this experience of working in a bathhouse and I went back home and worked as a lumberjack. I was clear on asking Don about his HIV status, and he deceived me and many others.

One is not promoting unsafe sex, and suggesting you will not become infected. I'm not only amazed I'm still alive and well, but also I was never infected with all the first hand exposure I have had to the HIV virus. But these experiences and the loss of so many friends did kill something within me; so one has been effected.

You probably don't have anything to worry about but you should go see a doctor and get tested to ease your mind.

I vote for this entire thread to be removed.
(can we do this? is there actually a moderator?)

Nothing good seems to be coming from the exchanges.

Health, Life and possibly a little bit of kindness would be better suited instead of what I'm reading here.

I apparently spend way too much time on here, but this almost exact same original post was posted a few weeks ago. People are entitled to their anxieties, but it is also just as easy (and more helpful) to call a doctor or get a test as it is to post here if they are seriously that concerned.
