Is anyone else supplement free? I've never had a protein shake or tried NO-Explode, frankly because I don't know enough about any of them to trust them with my body. Does anyone else do it the old fashion way? Lean meats?

Basically looking to see what your pros and cons have been with using/or not using supplements.

I don't use supplements either, and people seem to think it's like an abomination or something.
pros: no need to spend any extra money
cons: normal (slow?) muscle growth? As you can see I'm not the bulkiest/beefiest on here so that should be a big sing I guess. But then again, maybe that's just me.

Hmm, I use whey protein, but I do not use No-Xplode or Jack3d prior to workouts. All it is is obscene amounts of taurine and caffeine. One cup of green tea is all the caffeine I need to fuel a proper workout.

I use to take preworkouts but the come down is worse than some illicit drugs. Takes away from the natural enjoyment of working out.

Look through this list of things and tell me you know and trust them any more than anything you might find on the supplement shelf

The only difference is the branding, one says...Mama's Old Fashioned Traditional Homemade Soup...
