So I met a guy here in London-Aston 28- for a coffee-- not even a date at all.. he was late- told me he was in a certain area in London where I went to, when I phoned him, he just hung up on me repeatedly etc...

why do gay guys mess around like this?

If he invites you for a coffee...beware

Blah - that sucks Blactor - I can only imagine how frustrating that would be. What did you do afterwards? Just went back home?

If he sent me a text and said I dont wanna meet, thats cool. No worries. But I think some people have no manners... and it makes them common as dirt.

In a city with 100,000 other guys, relax. You found out that the guy's a wanker before you even wasted your time meeting him—quite often it takes several dates to establish the same irritating fact. Have a nice cup of tea at the V&A and move on.

Use the "img" tag above the dialogue box and then put the url of the image in between the tags.
You have to upload the image first though, I use http://tinypic.com/

Cold asked: What if he's battery/reception/phone died?

blactor saidIt didnt- I called three times and it was ringing

Unless Brit cell phones are different, the ring you hear when placing a call doesn't come from the receiving phone itself, but rather is generated by the carrier company. That's why you'll also hear a ring if the phone is switched off, though with most US services after 1 ring the call immediately goes to voicemail, if activated, for an inactive phone.

Did his go to voicemail, and did you leave a message? Or did he literally hang up on you as you wrote in your OP?

I'm not a big fan of rude social behavior, either. If the guy felt you didn't meet his expectations then there are more gracious ways to convey that. If someone has gone out of his way to meet me then I'm under obligation to let him know why we won't be meeting again, if that's how things develop.

Not always a pleasant task, but hey, we're grown men, right? Because once you've both agreed to meet someone, you've likewise both committed to certain conventions of civility. And in today's connected world, failure to do so is quickly known throughout the community.

One glance at his profile is all it took for me to determine he's a flake/fake.

Art_Deco saidI found for me that placing the img tag first, and trying to insert the image link into it perfectly, was a precision task my poor eyesight and trembling hands can't always achieve.
