Okay so I have to be in NYC for two weeks in December and kind of struggling to find a way of staying there without paying ££££££££££
    Any ideas?
One friend told me to check out "vacation rentals" but a lot look like scams.

I did one of the vacation rentals and it seemed scammy but actually turned out to be completely legit.

Hostels are always an extremely cost friendly way to do things ... it kind of sucks, but if you're just gonna be spending (some) of your nights there... icon_wink.gif

I'm not sure what your budget is OJ but I always use and have never been disappointed. They vary from cheap to mega expensive though...

Just have to hijack the thread....
I´m in NYC for about a week at the beginning of sepember. Looking for ideas for a cheap place to stay, as well as some input for things to do while being in the city. What are the things I absolutely have to see, what are some nice, not touristy places and where are the best parties?

Hey I checked this out and seems pretty cool, so long as you get to know the person before you go, thanks man. icon_smile.gif
