Ok, gentlemen, I have made up mind. It is Southern California, over AZ and UT. I am pretty set on San Diego, although if by some miracle someone convinced me there is a better place in So. Cal, I would consider it.

So I am soon to be on a plane to San Diego to visit friends, try and get some shit going to establish residency, and to check this shit out, party it up, have a good time. Where are the best places to go? What the hot places that I have to hit. Lookin for some specifics now, please don't make me rely on AOL cityfinder shit. Hit me up with some good suggestions, I am about bouncing off the walls looking forward to getting out there, and gettin out of here...We're under a fuckin snow advisory today need I say more.

San Diego is a good choice. It has all of the best of So Cal - beaches, mountains, deserts, climate, without the worst of Los Angeles. It's somewhat expensive, traffic is a pain, and the dating scene is unforgiving - but you probably won't have much trouble with that last point. I can't really give any good advice on the "hot" places to hit, but most of the places I hear people talk about are in Hillcrest and North Park... the gay neighborhoods in San Diego. Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach are THE beach communities of choice - lots of eye candy but mostly str8 in those areas. It's easier to answer specific question so feel free to ask. Have a safe visit and a good move to So Cal. Oh, its in the 80s here today, sunny with a nice ocean breeze... gotta love it.

I am not much of a party person and I don't think San Diego had as much a party scene as L.A. but there are places to go. But the beaches are cranking up right now and there are plenty of them between here and La Jolla, so don't forget those. About when will you be here?
