Looking for some advice

    I'm trying to figure out if what I'm doing is OK, or works against myself. I try to alternate days between moderate weights (full body) that takes about 90 minutes each session and running, which takes about 45 minutes each session. I also start each morning with 125 pushups, 100 leg lifts, 100 crunches, 60 bicycle crunches and some stretching.

    My question is are the pushups etc. every day too much and am I tearing myself down without the most effective building?

    Are you having trouble maintaining this exercise regime?It seems pretty rigorous to me.Do you have any complete rest days in there?You probably do need one.
    Also,how long have you been exercising?Have you gradually worked up to this,or is it much more recent?If you`ve achieved this in months you`re working very hard,I`d say.I`ve been exercising formally for five years-began aged fourty six- and always give myself a full day off between sessions to recover.I wouldn`t try to do something everyday.A lot of guys forget that rest is the other side of getting fit.
    Do some warming up before your morning pushups,etc.,then dynamic stretches will get your body ready for the leg lifts,crunches,and so on.

    thanks. i've been working it for about a year and have gotten great def, but not a lot of building. i do start dragging during the day also. Maybe it is a little too much. appreciate the advice. i guess i worry that if i stop i'll lose what i've gained

    I would do pushups every other day. Also I wouldn't do pushups on chest day at the gym. As said above, you have to remember to allow your body to repair and replenish.
