i mainly get that im cute. ive wondered if this is a bad thing or not? i mean im not complaining since its better than being an ugo or fugly but idk just never been able to reach the "HOT" level. lol so would u have a hot boy or a cute guy? dont hold back ;)

for added fun (assuming i get responses) lets hear what you get called the most and/or what u think of the guy above ya! your options are Hot, Cute, or No Thanks ;)

Both are better than "butt ugly". I have not been called cute since I was 7. Puppy dogs are cute, men are good looking or handsome.

"Hot" is purely physical. "Cute" can be both looks and personality. I'd rather be "cute."

    how true!

"cute" and "hot" quickly fades away in one's mid/late 30's....."handsome" can last into your 50's or even 60's...as George Clooney is proving.

    Hot > Cute.
When I say someone is hot, it's because I'm physically attracted.
When I say someone is cute, I'm less physically attracted to that person but I say it when I think they have a cute face or that they did something sweet.

Either one certainly beats the alternative.

    Cute > hot.

Cute means I'm interested in getting to know them. Hot means I would fuck them but probably not care what's on their mind.

Cute is far more preferable than hot as far as I am concerned.

Cute: personality is fun and not depressing; appearance is family-friendly; likely to own at least one beanie baby, hopefully a Spongebob Squarepants; would make a good impression on colleagues as well as family and friends. Cute seems like the quintessential "partner" to take home to mother - well rounded and worth being seen in public with - that is to say, there is more there than just a six pack.

Hot: "what, you wanna' go in that alley over there and do somethin' stud?" (actual message received on Grindr when I was in Philadelphia at the Dark Horse Pub - and I do not even have a six pack.)

    Examples~
    mizu5 is cute.
Justin Bieber (the celebrity, not the RJer) is hot.

guys with imperfections and still attractive = cute
guys who are perfect looking = HOT!!

I prefer hot guys- more fun to look at and continue...!

'Hot' in my book is way better then cute. Hot is a visceral response, like your dick is going to jump out of your pants. But it's very rare which makes it so exciting. There is nothing wrong with cute. You should be flattered to be called cute.

And mch is right, after 30 no one wants to be cute.

there is no so such thing as cute when describing a adult. either they are goodlooking, handsome, sexy, or hot. cute is only used for puppies and babies

I usually get called cute and don't understand the difference between hot and cute. For example my then boyfriend (we are not together now) said one night that i was cute but my brother was better looking than me and although i didn't know what that meant i knew that he lead me on and didn't want me to begin with. That whore icon_mad.gificon_rolleyes.gif

I knew my ugliness would be good for something.

The combo is usually cute/sexy. One can be cute, but still a sexy guy. Hot usually means something along the lines of distant (unknown to you/dumb) and fuckable.

I never take people seriously, so if someone says I'm cute the I come up with something witty icon_razz.gif

Also, I'm pretty sure once you graduate middle school nobody would call you ugly... at least not while you are around icon_razz.gif

It's a shame because one of my favorite phrases is to tell people they are being ugly, but they always think its a physical comment when its much more about their personality -- which is what ugly really is to me.
