Every single person that has ever seen me says I look about 6 years younger than I actually am.

I look younger about 8 years than my real age.
I recently met someone about my age and
he looks his age.. so I thought it could be a bit
disturbing to be seen together and I get to get
the compliments.... life can sometimes be unfair.

I've received comments like that all my life. It worked well when I was a teenager and I could get in on the "12 and under" at the movies. It could be problem however when I wanted to be taken seriously by adults.

These days, I'm just happy with how I look in most respects.

lol nope..i guess i generally look older to a lot of people...when i was 16, some junior high looking kids asked me if i could buy them tickets to a rated R film...i said no, because i was 16, and they were shocked saying that i looked 25.

when i was 22, i met some friends of whom would later by my boyfriend, and they guessed that i was in my early 30s...i guess i'm not offended by these comments. i like to think of myself as wine that gets better faster than most people..or i should probably use better moisturizer. =P

They used to tell me I looked 7-8 years younger than my true age. All through my 30s, I was pegged as being around 25-27. As I got older, of course, that age range scale would slide up a few as well... now, I get, "damn, you look good for your age!"... I'm still trying to accept that one, considering the source of the "compliment" each time, as to whether I should be annoyed or pleased.... but truthfully, looking around at my age group, I guess I should be pleased....

I'm regularly mistaken for being in my mid-20's. I haven't been for a decade, but I let them continue to think that anyways!icon_razz.gif

For the most part yes. I get anywhere from 35 to 42. Oddly, when I meet someone, its usually like the 3rd or 4th question they ask me. Not sure why.

Yes, people think I'm around 27-30. I'll take that, I'm gonna be 38 in Oct.

Lots rest, water, sun screen, and a good dermatologist.

If I shave completely (which I never do) and don't put gel in my hair I look like I'm about 13.

Recently, i had two different women think I was 32 and 35 respectively. At 53, I'll take that any day...although I think they were being far too generous with their guesses. I typically find that people think I'm 6-12 years younger.

I was watching a video of the Ironman in Kona about a month ago. It included some video segments of an 80 year old man that competed in the race every year as a personal test to see if he still "had it." And he did! Quite the inspiration...so that's my plan!
