Is it a turn on or turn off if you see a hot guy sweating like crazy at the gym. The guy has a nice bod, face, etc. Does it turn you off? Say he us dripping with sweat, and he has ass swear, everything. He's really hot, but does he lose points cause he's dripping wet with sweat?

Depends on the guy, and whether I have to use the equipment after him.

I'm a heavy sweater, i may be partial but its a turn on for me. As long as the guy wipes down the equipment no problem!

I'm of the mind that if you don't sweat at the gym, then you're really not exercising hard enough. If your heart rate isn't elevated, even for weight training, then you might as well just walk.

I sweat a tonne if I'm doing circuit training, but I'm sure to wipe down the benches and grips with disinfectant after use.

Its not a turn off if he is clean. I've wipe sweat off equipment before and when I look at my towel it is brownish. gross. Also, as long as he doesnt smell like a nyc taxi cab with a broken A/C on a hot summer days then its fine.

if they are in shape and working hard, that is kinda hot. And THEY WIPE DOWN!
If they walk in and walk on the treadmill and it starts to spark, that isn't so sexy.

I don't understand it either. I work my ass off in the gym and I usually sweat a ton. I use at least two hand towels to dry myself and equipment down after using it.

Heavy sweater here too...i use a full towel (well, a couple of them) and wipe my machines down. I dont stink tho...maybe its because I drink a ton of water.

Funny true story: yesterday I did wind sprints after lifting on the treadmill..my gloves were still in the hold compartment and went to get the antibacterial wipe down. Some idiot had already jumped on there (there were other open ones) and I said...'you might want me to wipe it down before you use it.' He looked at me (like i was from Mars btw) and said 'no please dont, i like it like this' icon_eek.gif Whatever's clever... Freak.

I sweat a lot depending on the muscle groups I'm working. I drink so much water that the sweat comes out virtually odorless (I can tell when I take off my shirt). I definitely carry a towel with me though.

Everyone is different. My dad and I can be in the same 75 degree room, I'm dry as a bone and his skin is already starting to get damp. I grew up in the tropics and lived in hot climates my entire life and very rarely will I sweat just sitting still. Temps would have to be above 90 with high humidity before I start to sweat. The facility my BF and I train at keeps the weight room at 70 degrees (F) constantly and after 45 minutes of heavy lifting he's sweating like a pig, soaked through a towel and I'm pumped, my heart rate is elevated and I'm relatively dry compared to him.

I don't care if someone is sweaty or not at the gym so long as they wipe down the equipment and they don't smell like a yetti.

Fit sweaty guy gets a thumbs up in terms of attractiveness.

Yeah i sweat quite a bit myself when i workout, lift and cardio. However I always wipe down after using the equipment. I guess its hot to see a guy get all sweaty. As long as they don't try to hug me i'm fine haha...icon_biggrin.gif

Mix it with about half a bottle of mineral oil and you can slip and slide and sweat all night.

As long as the guy wipes off the equipment and isn't dripping buckets everywhere then it's ok.

It's preferable to be sweating at the gym, since he should be working out hard there. Worse places for the guy to be sweating include church, a courtroom, and kindergarten.

Edit: Also, he shouldn't have some weird funk. If he stinks like garlic or has some other strange bad odor when he sweats, then he should take care of that.

What's the point of going to the gym if you're not gonna sweat?
Sweat a ton when I lift or do circuits, but always have two towels: one for me, one for the equipment...

I find sweaty guys hot...(that's different than stinky)
If you're not sweating you're simply posing (and that's not hot at all...)
