Hey all, I've recently started a more paleo-centered diet. I lost 4lbs after one week and am feeling quite amazing- aside from experiencing ketogenesis for the first time. Anyway, I haven't been able to find any adverse side affects through all of my blog/online reading. It seems everything I find is just trying to promote the diet/lifestyle. I'm wondering if there is any vitamins/supplements or things I should be aware of health wise that I might not be getting enough of on this diet. I don't have the money atm to meet with a doctor to discuss my diet and lifestyle, as our university health insurance doesn't go through the summer unless we pay a fee. Also, my roommate spoke about it with his syster, who has a gluten allergy. She apparently had several friends who went on the paleo diet, and after several years, most experienced some sort of adverse affects to the liver or kidney; anyone know what this could be?
