Has DEBT CEILING WAIT made you SPEND LESS?

    I'm curious to know if anyone here is holding back on spending, or has a business where you see slower sales because people are awaiting the outcome of this.

    No, but I pulled everything out of the stock market, until this gets settled.

    my entire 401-K balance is out of the stock market fund; all transferred to the "safest" (but lowest yield) fund option avialable to me.

    perhaps it's not "Big Bucks" to some of the ("internet inches") robber barons here on RJ; it's all i have....and i cannot affford to loose it.

    But to answer the question, I probably spent more money during this debt ceiling debate than I ever have. I recently bought a Macbook Pro, a camcorder, and started shopping for my fall wardrobe.
