We have Acer T.V's and computers and find them pretty decent. We both got Acer Android phones and hated them. They functioned well but the battery life sucked. In general though I have to say I'm fairly happy wth their product.
Sorry have not heard anything about the specific product your asking about.

For the price, it's not bad. But I played around with one at the store. It seemed awfully thick/heavy to me. But again, the price point makes up for it.

Have you considered the Asus Transformer? About the same price. More sleek looking. And I trust Asus build quality over Acer.

Acer??? bad choice!!! very bad choice indeed!!! Acer has the worst Guarantee and the worst Customer Service in the world!!! go ahead if u want it!, but prepare yourself for being held in a queue for more than 45 min and your call be transferred from one departament to another.

I am on my second Acer laptop and love them.

I had to end up getting a replacement battery for the first laptop and had to go back and forth a few days with customer service but ended up getting a replacement free of charge.

And my second laptop is great. I have had other laptops and always had problems.

    I would highley recomend them.

I would say from past experience not to go with Dell

The Tegra 3 processor core is slated to come out Q3 2011. In fact it is expected to be released in devices this August or September. It'll outperform any of the previous Tegra 2 devices, such as the Galaxy Tab/Transformer Eee/Acer A/W500s by a factor of FIVE.

    Tegra 2 = Dual-Core 1 GHz
    Tegra 3 = Quad-Core 1.5 GHz

Just wait a month or two, or else you are buying something right at the end of the cutting edge life-cycle.

we have new electronics do not immediately appear, but later than in other countries for 3-4 months. And about the price, I generally keep quiet, the cost may be higher than in 2 or even 3 times more than in other countries. Same Iphone 4 here in Russia is worth $ 1100

I agree that. Asus generally provide higher quality that Acer as far as my own experiences go.

Check the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Model #TF101-B1. There's an option of adding a keypad hence the tradename "Transformer"

I bought it, use it, it was a lot of negative criticism at the expense of buying, but I do not pay attention, the house has 2 computers but it almost did not go up. Soon android update to 3.2 was very pleased, but the fact that it is impossible to connect the 3G modem upset, although it can be corrected by third-party firmware. In general I do not regret the purchase, thanks for making his remarks
