Make sure you get plenty of sleep, eat a big carb meal tonight to give you energy and then something like a couple of bananas tomorrow before the fight and maybe a Red Bull or something.

Yup no wanking tonight so you are more aggressive in the fight. Good luck mate, hope you fucking floor the other guy!

Don't do MMA there are too many things that are illegal and will get you DQ that you would do if you were in a real fight.

i don't know if you meditate, but that always helps before a fight. concentrate, what effort you put into the fight is the result you get. hydrate, drink lots of water tonite. inspiration, listening to some music that gets you pumped. rest, lots of sleep. Like the guy above no wanking or horizontal salsa.

Prepare yourself mentally. You've studied your opponent. You know his strengths and weaknesses. You know yours. You've practiced your strategy. Now imagine those scenarios repeatedly and this will get you mentally prepared. As you imagine them, you will fine-tune your techniques as you envision them and create your instinct against your opponent.

Good luck, and tell us how it goes.

    +1

This is the type of prep I do for wrestling/grappling/boxing matches. These sports are notorious for being a head game so I try to forget about my opponent as much as possible and focus on myself and my training. Some people use the opposite strategy so I guess it's whatever works for you.

Good luck and keep us posted.

being nervous for a competition is good. try to stick to your normal routine. Then just before the fight imagine that your trainer just told you the dude you are fighting just raped your sister. I think you would tear up anyone with that rage

You're brave and gutsy great qualities in a man. Never was in a fight like that, but maybe the prep, other than no fapping, isn't too unlike prepping for any big event -- school exam, driving test, first date with a hottie. Best of luck, I know you're gonna win!

Stay up all night drinking hard liquor with mixed shots, then smoke a huge blunt just before the match. icon_biggrin.gif

Keep your routine. Keep low-key and relaxed. Channel that nervous energy in your warm-up to deeper concentration on your game plan and pique at the face-off mid cage, then explode all that focused energy in the fight.

    Give us the blow-by-blow.

Need a boxing sparring partner for next match?

Good luck! The nervousness is normal. Is this your first fight? If so, you'll probably channel all that nervousness into good energy, stick with how you were trained, and barely remember what happened after! Fight report please! (pics too?)

Good luck! I have two ways for you to increase your pain tolerance!

#1. Profanities! I wouldn't recommend shouting them out, but think them!

#2. Sexual Fantasy! Fantasizing about really hot sex is proven to be the best effective way of increasing your pain tolerance!

There used to be a guy on here who did MMA (blondfit?). He disappeared, which does not bode particularly well. My advice, for what it's worth, is to take up something less injurious.
