    Ever a classic from 1992.

Reminds me of my days spent smelling burnt jet fuel, working 12 hour alert shifts in hardened aircraft shelters, and watching busloads of heavy-set British females bussed in to RAF Upper Heyford from Banbury, Bicester and even as far as Oxford to prey upon horny single airmen in the NCO club.... lol

YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!

I'm not joking here: I would blast this track before catching the bus in 3rd grade!! My brother gave me cassettes of this stuff when he moved to LA. Das Boot - U96 was one of my favorites. In fact it made me cry (hey I was in 3rd grade) because I've never heard a symphony put to a dance beat before then.

On the video's YouTube page click on "Share." Second, click on "Embed." And then copy the code and paste that code here.

    Edit:

I'm too slow, already answered icon_biggrin.gif

Kudos to you endo for starting thread and actually posting literal techno music that was at the time called techno music.

Here's some more I liked. Not quite techno (breaks and trance precursors), but it was lassoed under the "techno" genre at the time.

Although electronic music had been around for many years, this is probably the first techno single released (1981), even though it would still be a couple more years before people were calling the genre "techno". In 1984 Cybotron released the single "Techno City" helping to give Detroit its reputation as the birthplace of Techno.

I think most of us find the video we want on youtube and then choose to 'share' and then 'embed' and you have to select the option for "use old embed code" or it won't work on RJ. Copy and paste the code into RJ's "edit post" window...you don't have to do anything else (no "img" or "url" button --nothing else).

Actually the newer, shorter embed code is working now.

Alex Christensen (the primary guy behind U96) was always one of my faves when I was living in Europe.

And it kept me sane between deployments to Incirlik and Saudi, as well as an otherwise demanding tour in the UK.

Nearly all the music I listen to is German, so I'm familiar with Scooter... they're an interesting band in that they are MASSIVE in Europe but nearly no one in the States has heard of them. It's strange that they've never broken through.
