Chainers, donate today! Do you really want to live in a world where The Gap stops making 32X32 khakis? Where Whole Foods stops stocking granola?

Cute....I wonder if Netflix and Bit torrent shared in the cost of making this since it will be a great advertising gimmick! LOL

LMAO i love how at the end she say's she'll just use bit torrent. With all the limits providers are placing on access they are gonna see a rise once in again in people turning toward that kind of thing again.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidThey didn't honestly raise their prices did they?!

    DID THEY!!???!

Unfortunately, yes...it was funny because in the elevator today one of my neighbours commented that I had my Neftlix return packet ready to return and said the same thing...prices did go up -

The new plans separate DVD-only subscriptions and streaming-only subscriptions, with each basic plan costing $7.99 a month. To have one DVD at a time now costs $7.99 while 2 DVDs at a time costs $11.99 and so on. To add streaming content, it’s another $7.99 on top of that.

Before, the company offered customers a combo plan that made it cheaper to get DVDs in the mail and streaming content as a package. The basic plan for one DVD at a time and unlimited steaming used to cost $9.99 and now will cost $15.98 a month.

Yeah, new pricing kicks in September for current members. Basically, they doubled the rates. If you want streaming and DVD rental, it's like $16 a month. So they're going to give you a choice.. For $8, you pick either streaming only, or DVD only. Or pay $16 to have both.

This was funny, and yes it is only like $6 extra a month, but still...

and it is $2 more on top of that if you rent blu-rays from them, which sucks ugh.

    Whatever.

Funny video, but the price hike is a non-issue for me...because I'm canceling during the last week of August. icon_twisted.gif

What the hell is going on with Jason Alexander's hair. It looks like he has a muskrat sitting on top of his head.

I divided the amount of disks I watch a month by the new price and found that it still is worth it for me to keep my same plan. I get 2 disks at a time with unlimited streaming so 8 disks a month with whatever I stream vs. $20 (new price) is at least $2 or lower for each movie.
