Trends come and then they go. I wish this is one that would never come back.

Because people are followers. All it takes is one idiot to do something, then everyone else blindly follows. I remember the first time I saw a guy with waxed eyebrows, I thought to myself "well at least I know this will never catch on." 10 years later, everyone suddenly looks like Liza Minelli. icon_neutral.gif

It causes me to sweat 10x more than I do with it shaved.

bushy eyebrows are hot...bushy eyebrows are a sign of youth and vitality. thinning eyebrows are a symptom of thyroid disease. I've personally lost some of the hair on my eyebrows, I wish they were bushier. sometimes it just looks like I have half an eyebrow.

Hmm. I think you can figure this one out if you think about it. Why do you not shave your chest? It's all preference dude.

Smooth, hairy. It's all good to me, just as long as he has a nice chest.

I agree - even though i'm not Italian icon_smile.gif i've shaved completely a few times, and yeah, it does feel really good (right after you do it) at my age, it makes me look kinda like a plucked chicken....not so good. so, like JP, i just use my clippers w/o a guard, and just clip it all down to about 1/4 - 3/8 inch - no itch, nice and neat, and doesnt hide the fact that i do have chest hair. most everyone seems to be happy....icon_smile.gif

Because I have a tiny lil patch of chest hair and it's like well why not it's an easy shave off!

Also it does keep me cooler when I sweat or anything. It's also why I shave my armpits - deodorant works 20x better when there is no hair underneath.

I personally do it for two reasons:

With chest/torso hair, it's hard to make out any definition on my upper body, and I like to be able to track my progress.

It also means less sweat gets caught and helps make cleanup easier.

However, I'm hoping one day, I'll have enough muscle mass so that chest and ab hair will look flattering on my body. As it stands, I feel it looks hotter to be able to see my muscles than to not.

Plus, hair doesn't work on everyone. Some guys just can't pull off hair.

I used to never trim or shave. I always viewed my chest hair as an awesome asset.. it still is, but I do trim .. never shaved it all off (I've probably be in trouble if I did..lol)... but it is nice to get a little tan and show more definition. Trimming does give a different look and I like to change it up a bit.

Me too, if I leave it, I feel like a pubescent boy. My genes don't allow me for much hair on my body except my legs. Weird.

I wish guys with hairy chests would trim it so the hairs are relatively short and lay flat against the skin as opposed to being curly/bushy. That's the kind of hairy chest I like best.

No idea why guys with naturally hairy chests make them smooth...it's such a shame icon_confused.gif

I think the natural look is best-- whether smooth, hairy, or somewhere in between.
