New to Muscle Building

    I posted a topic a while back asking if I should start muscle building, and I decided I want to start. For the past few years, my fitness goals have always been to lose body fat while maintaining the muscle I have. I have followed the "Strong and Lean 12-Week" workout plan for a while, and I recently just finished the 12 weeks. It took me a while to get the whole nutrition thing right, but I have found a diet that has worked for me by controlling calories, cutting carbs, and eating tons of protein. As of now, I have definitely made improvements and I think I have a good foundation.

    So basically my question is...where and how should I start? From what I can guess, building muscle entails eating a lot more, lifting more heavily and intensely, and taking different kinds of supplements like creatine. What kind of workout plan should I follow, and what do you guys think of RJ's 12-week Muscle Building program? Any tips about nutrition and supplements? I might be looking too much into the process, but I just want to make sure I am efficient and don't do anything stupid.

    Also, since I do eat a lot of protein I am wondering if I have gained a bit of muscle or if it's muscle I already have due to loss of body fat? Any advice would be great thanks!

    Try Rippetoe's Starting Strength. I like it better than any of the RJ programs.
