They all pretty much let down America with their theater that, while it may have prevented a crisis -- for NOW anyway -- didn't really make the tough decisions to start to fix the real problem.

I am right there with you !!! This was nothing but a TBAGGER originated fiasco and Obama compromised away all his bargaining power even while the majorities of the public are on his side. Why didn't he play this trump card over and over? We essentially have one party in this country and it is bought and sold by big money interests.

I have high hopes that the Baggers are sent packing in 2012, and there should be a challenge to Obama because his spine is bent into a C for Compromise !!! He compromises while the Repub/TBaggers do no compromising at all. This is sickening !!! WHO THE HELL IS REALLY RUNNING THIS SHAM ? It sure isn't the voters interests.

during his Presidential campaign, President obama looked to me as a man with no deep set convictions or moral values; a man who would lean which ever way the political winds blew.

unfortunately, nothing that he has done (so far) has changed my initial impression of him.

the REALLY sad thing is: i can't see anyone better in the center of the 3 ring political circus (AKA Washington, D. C.) to replace him!

If we want to fix the problem we should start by totally ending two wars, close at least half of the bases around the world, cut the Pentagon by 50%, bring home those soldiers. Charge a tax to on the War Machine profiteers who have been way overcharging the Pentagon and the proceeds from this tax should go to pay the health costs and benefits for wounded soldiers.

End Bush tax cuts for the wealthy NOW, they have already cost us around 2 Trillion in debt. (maybe more) WHERE ARE THE JOBS those tax cuts were supposed to provide ? LMAO !!!
