I went to a nudist pool party this weekend and LOVED it and wondering if anyone join a naturist/nudist event but be cool about the fact it is non-sexual? Also like to hear stories of anyone been to a nudist/naturist event!

We usually try to have a naked pool party 1-2 times a year. Just a handful of good friends. Completely non-sexual. It sounds weird, but you kind of forget you're naked after the first 30min or so.

There's a nudist group around here and I've gone to a few of their events. It wasn't really my thing though. Too many strangers getting a little too handsy. It wasn't overtly sexual, but it the guys were just a little too touchy-feely.

I love being naked. Luckily, my backyard is pretty private and we have a pool. It's a built-in excuse to get naked. :-)

Being a nudist/naturist I love getting feeling sunshine all over.

Once you try it on a beach, you'll probably never go back, unless you get a bad experience, ie. someone tries it on, but naturists/nudists are very non sexual

In my opinion dressed people are way more sexy icon_smile.gif

It doesn't sound weird at all. Nude swimming is great. Perfect venue for that kind of event.

I go to the clothing optional beach a few times every year, and have been to a couple clothing optional resorts.
In my experience, nudists/naturists are the least judgmental people in the world.
And they certainly won't judge you for the clothes you're wearing. icon_lol.gif

I was in Ibiza last week and took a trip to the gay beach (Charingay) for my birthday... I was only there for about half an hour but I gotta say, it depends on your crowd.

I feel totally comfortable getting naked around straight people... I think for the shock value (ive got a real thing for naked sunset/sunrise photos), but i dont think I can do it in front of gay guys in much the same way.

The same goes for the two bars I worked in, one straight, one gay, I MUCH preferred working in the straight one because I didnt feel like everybody was watching/judging me, i dunno... its hard to explain.

I am nude in the house most of the time during the warmer part of the year. Have thought about a nude resort but really have no venue and nothing not to wear.

When I lived in Munich this summer I was shocked and surprised to see so many people happily sunbathing and enjoying themselves naked in the parks and by the river. Shocked as Bavarians tend to be a very conservative bunch.

After a drink to stiffen the nerves I thought f*ck it and joined in, was certainly liberating and something I would definitely do again, given the chance and the right environment.

Belonged to a gay male naturist club for a couple of years in another State. Haven't joined one here in Florida because it's kinda redundant, with a legally-sanctioned nude beach in the area (that paulflexes also visits), and clothing optional gay resorts.

We used to march naked in the Twin Cities Gay Pride Parade (Minneapolis-St. Paul). Naked except for open barrels we wore with suspenders, that being a comical metaphor many years ago for people who had lost all their possessions. Then I'd staff a booth for a few hours at PrideFest still in my barrel, signing up new members.

Yes, one time I was walking down Tiergartenstrasse (I think) in Berlin on a fairly cool day in April. Around lunch time, the sun came out and it got quite pleasant. Suddenly, people started streaming out of the office buildings across the street, into the park, and stripping off all their clothes icon_eek.gif

    Color me provincial.

On the other hand, the first time I stayed in Miami Beach, half the hotel was full of some tour group from Germany. The first thing they did after they arrived was run out to the beach and get naked. The lifeguards were pretty red in the face, trying to explain to these people who didn't speak english that they needed to put some clothes on. At the beach. icon_redface.gif

Years later, when I was in Spain, I'd go to a rather secluded beach on Sunday afternoons. About half of the (few) people would be naked, and about half of those would be having sex of some sort, at some time during the afternoon. Most of them would at least walk back to the tree line to get busy, but a few would just throw a towel over their asses, or place a strategic umbrella or something. It was pretty casual. I liked it there.
