I once had an old-timer tell me "No one can get your goat unless you show them where you have it tied up!". I've tried to remember that anytime someone starts to get under my skin. Any of you have such sage words you live by?

    Fall from a haystack.
    Fall from above.
    Fall from anywhere.
    But...............
    Never fall in love!

The person in love the most, is the one with the less power.

The grass is always greener on the other side, because they usually tend to it better.

It is folly to pray to the gods for that which we are able to achieve ourselves.

If there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.

Embrace today because tomorrow may never come.

This one relates to the fella who when he looked for a response from an RJ member, he was gone (I hope that the gone-guy returned--life demands that he does) BUT

Too many of us stay walled up because we are afraid of being hurt. We are afraid to care too much, for fear that the other person does not care at all.”

This comment has stuck with me for a long time--helping me understand life when courage takes the back seat.

I wish this fella to keep on coming to other people--courage lacking is not the decision. We just simply must dare to connect == and have the strength to carry on when someone is too afraid.

We'll never know--and that is the pain of it all.
