Congrats! Good to hear you're pursuing a long-held dream.

Too many people consider gay - Christian - ministry to be terms that are anathema. (THERE"S an ancient greek-based term ministry folk should know icon_biggrin.gif )

Curious: does that position require academic training or ordination?

    Good luck (Psalm 100:2)

May God Bless you and may you speak His truths and be guided by the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I ask this.

Yeah it requires formal training over two years - in my case as I have a Bachelors Degree a Master of Theology. There isnt Ordination per se but a similar thing called "Installation of a Minister" where the Minister is given a charge and swears a promise to God and their congregation upon acceptance of their first congregation. We dont do "Laying on of hands" and all that.
