Is it fair to out celebrities?

Personally I haven't slept with anyone who is even close to being labeled a celebrity, but I have friends who have, and most of them have been closeted. Now personally, I think if you're gay, you should say, but I understand why people want their privacy. Do you think it's right to out a closeted celebrity? My friend slept with a 'straight' actor just a few weeks ago and the b-lister told him that he's never been with a woman in his entire life, and now my friend is going around telling everyone this story. I totally don't think it's his story to tell.

If you slept with a celebrity who wasn't out, would you out him?

No. I think its stupid to be in the closet and they can do much more good out of it, but at the end of the day it is their choice to say it.

If the celeb makes homophobic remarks around his peers when not getting his dick sucked by a dude, then out the fucker.

But if he's gay-friendly around his peers, then let him come out on his own terms.

Agree. With an exception for those who actively campaign against gay civil rights, and for gay oppression. Those hypocrites deserve to be outed.

But for those who simply make a personal choice for privacy, no, they shouldn't be outed.

Depends, if they're just some actor trying to get a start in Hollywood and don't ostentatiously try to pretend that they're straight, no. They're just trying to protect their career. If they're a politician who actively supports homophobic legislation, then plaster their pic all over the papers.

Basically this. I'm going to make the judgement that your friend has shitty character. I'm sure he knew where dude A stood before sleeping with him and should respecct that after the fact. It sounds more like your friend wants the attention and drama post deed.

I agree with the consensus that your friend is acting like a douche. Even in the event it was a politician who is publicly homophobic and votes against gay rights I still wouldn't out someone if I slept with them.

Couldn't agree more. I have complete and utter respect for the privacy of guys that have not come out. I was there before too and just because I came out at 20, doesn't mean that everyone else is at that same point in their life to do the same.

I personally wouldn't tell, but I wouldn't have much remorse for a public figure who is outed...

    That is EXACTLY my position.

I'd encourage people to come out, but not make too much of an issue of it if they choose not to. It is their choice.

Right; a gentleman never tells, so obviously he's not a gentleman.

Some gay men need to stop such women with this kissing and telling. I believe your friend should get his head knock off. Who cares if they are homophobic believe me its hurting them more than its hurting you. Stop being a fucking coward and keep your mouth shut. If somebody told all your secrets you will be shittin. There are crazy people out there who would blow your fucking head for opening your mouth. Your is a friend BITCH
