Well, that was gruesome. I had very little to eat today so I crammed in some tortellini and about 2 dozen chocolate covered graham cookies at the end of the day, before my run. Boy am I paying for it.

    5 miles in 44:44. Terrible. icon_sad.gif

Keep in mind that's it's the distance, not the pace, that matters. Same energy is burned going 7"/mi or 9"/mi. Even at the slow pace, I'm sure you met your cardio goal too. Tomorrow's another day.

Ran Sole to Soul 5k. I botched my start so I ended up running slow at the beginning. I ran 19:13, finished 45th and was 5th in my age group 35-39 which is one of the toughest.

I ran the course before and after the race so it was 9 miles total.

Next up is a 2-miler on Saturday.
