Reforms Working In Wisconsin

The reforms Governor Walker has made are working here in Wisconsin. It took 8 years for former gov. Doyle to trash our state and only 7 months for his vision to turn it around.

A 3 billion dollar deficit into a surplus by liberating the state from public unions fiscal death grip, paying back 200 mil. to minnesota on a huge loan, paying back 230 mil. to a doctors malpractice fund our past governor raided to pay for programs, a state that is now out front on creating new jobs instead of seeing companies flee to other states, and no tax increases.

The unionistas are trying to win recall elections this comming week to try to take back the state senate so they can stop the reforms and take us back to where we were. Hell, they are even running ad's on REAL JOCK so you KNOW its working. We in Wisconsin say, thanks but no thanks national unions. We have seen your way and it didnt work. Now its time to make some tough choices and take our state in a new direction. It seems to be working

    THANK YOU GOVERNOR WALKER

It helps when the dems are giving free ribs for votes.

Plus the Democratic organizations and the unions have been pouring money into Wisconsin, trying to make a last ditch stand to gather steam to try desperately to breath life into their failed ideology. Also:

Really? 'Cus the 3 people I know who live in Wisconsin say something completely opposite of you.

No offense, but I'm going to be more inclined to believe any of those three, over you.

You are so blinded by ideology that I wouldn't trust you if you told me you were a white Midwesterner.

Walker is not interested in doing anything for the people of Wisconsin, just his corporate masters.

It must be a great feeling of omnipotence to know what everyone in the state wants.

The most recent polls show a 59% disapproval rating for Walker in the state and only a 39% approval rating. icon_lol.gif

I dont claim to know what everyone in our state wants. What our state wanted was change of leadership and a new direction and the voters of the state did just that by sweeping changes in the Senate and Assembly. If Walker was so unpopular why did the democrats not even put up a credible opponenet against him? If previous governor hack Doyle and his policies were so popular then why didnt he run again? Has Walker balanced the budget? Yep. Has he raised taxes? Nope, but Doyle and the dems did buy 1 billion on the taxpayers. Has his policies created jobs since his changes? Yep 30,000+ where as more than 150,000 were lost to Doyle.

Honestly, why would anyone in our state want to go back? that was my point. Give the man a chance just like they say about Obama. If his policies dont work, them vote him out

One friend is in the WI national guard and works on a family farm in the south.

One is a student at U of WI in Madison.

One is a small business owner in...Montichello, or something like that.

They don't like him - I've heard them all explain their problems but with not living there I never really understand what they are saying. I mean, I have my own problems to worry about in my own corrupt state. However, from everything they've told me, Walker isn't popular, what he's done isn't helping...and they are ready to be rid of him.

Dude, he has been in office for 6 months. Hard for anything he has reformed to take hold over night. It took 8 years for the last Governor to fuck the state up. He's trying to fix it. As for your friends please ask them to site specific fact on just exactly what isnt working here that he has done.... awnser is.... you can't !

The pathetic left in our state is already crying to elect Russ Feingold for Governor in 2014....another retread who got de-pants by a true wisconsite in Ron Johnson for the US Senate.

But believe what you want, its your mind and your right as a human to do so

Republican money came in only after the Democrats and unions announced they intended to initiate recalls and make an example of Wisconsin.

As far as debating or even discussing economics with you, pointless.

Here is a prediction for you.... massive election turnout.....and out of the 6 replublican recall elections tomorrow that were specificly targeted buy the national unionistas as districts which were highly public union worker districts, they will only lose 1 seat whick the democrats feel they have 2 locked up.

"Unionistas?" Hmm... are you trying to make an odd play of "Sandinistas?" The right-wingers used to add "istas" on the end of things they didn't like in the 80s, because they were feverishly opposed to the Nicaraguan government. Or, is it something else? I don't see why it would not merely be "unionists," if anything.

It does intrigue me that the right-wing politics (especially neo-liberal economics) has so influenced many gay men.

Yes, it is a play on the same thinking. The power hungry dues sucking union thugs which have been infecting our state for the past few months hate it.
