All the protein fluff I found had berries in it... wouldn't that be high in carbs? Good for high protein diet I suppose, but not so much someone doing low carb.
Tonight I did a pot roast making sure everything was low carb ingredients with cauliflower rice. The rice was experimental but I actually really liked it.
Paleo is not a low carb diet ! It is a NO PROCESSED, man-made carb diet.
Not just no processed items. If you strictly adhere to it you will have to stay away from grains, legumes, and dairy, you'll automatically cut out a lot of carbs.
Paleo is short for Paleolithic. Its meant as a guideline to eat as our caveman ancestors did, that means you're not supposed to eat anything introduced to our diets after the agricultural revolution, only the stuff a hunter/gatherer would be able to get his hands on: protein and (good) fats, fruits and veggies, nuts and berries.
