The fact that this woman compiled a list of *all* the couples and notified their parents and classmates for the sake of "preventing public displays of affection" shows that she has no regard for anyone's privacy. Besides being sacked, she should also suffer humilation by having the names of all of her sex partners posted on the school division's website.
I was at first very sympathetic towards Nick, but then I thought of how this woman's actions actually reached further than simply outing gay students. Suppose one of the parents who got a letter was a strict Christian disciplinarian who didn't want his son or daughter dating anyone. Also, let's suppose that there was an interracial relationship and someone's parents didn't want their child dating outside of their race. Or, even more typical of high school, suppose one girl thought she was the only girl Johnny was dating and saw the list with him associated with some other girl. Beasley's actions were nothing more than malicious shit-stirring at a school with an outstanding curriculum that I wish had been available when I was that age.
This woman deserves whatever humiliation and strife come to her because she showed such indifference to the privacy of others. She's tarnished the reputation of a good school with her obvious issues with sexuality.
