The start of something new...people are going to find a new reason and rationale for the world to end. Remember Y2K? I love a good conspiracy theory like any other wacko and I do think 2012 will be a significant year but definitely not the end.

Six of one; half-dozen of the other.
I'm going to live one day at a time either way.

I think this whole universe of matter is going to collide with it's twin universe of anti-matter and explode into nothingness.

Why did you specifically pick 2012? Hopefully it's not because of that "world ending in 2012" thing, 'cause that would be silly.

Anyway... 2012 (or any year for that matter, provided that I am alive) should be a continuation of my life, including the end of some things and the start of others.

I don't really ever worry about "The End of the World" type things because it's likely going to happen at some point, but if it's during my lifetime there is some sort of comfort knowing that we're all in this together and going at the same time. I just hope it's quick and not painful icon_eek.gif

I tend toward believing that the date is significant. There are ancient records from multiple societies, of a time of great change occurring in this time period.

I also believe there were ancient civilizations that were as advanced, if not more so than the times we are living in. There are ancient hieroglyphs from India and Egypt that uncannily depict not only manned flying machines, but specific models, like the recently retired space shuttle, Apache helicopters, as well as submarines. There are also depictions of what we call flying saucers, which seem to indicate we have hosted off planet visitors for millenia. They are apparently benevolent, as can be gleaned by reading between the lines of recent mainstream media headlines.

I'll have to find the links another time, but fully 10% of the US nuclear, intercontinental ballistic missile force was repeatedly disabled during widely viewed UFO incidents that lasted for hours over the above installations.....communications??messages??? The same has happened to France and UK ...all in the past year. Take it how you will. I choose to see it as communication from benevolent superiors that are already among us....saving us from ourselves.

I don't think there is anything to fear. The stated dates my be accurate, pertaining to certain intergalactic alignments, but our translation of the dates may not. The fact that there are multiple scholarly interpretations of ancient calenders clarifies that point.

I have been following the work of a researcher, writer, and world renowned psychic named David Wilcox. His message, while just an opinion, is that there is nothing to fear. He is anticipating an awakening of consciousness among the intimidated, beat down, and sleep walking masses. He expects a repeat of previous great evolutionary leaps in humanity. Like Darwin himself, he has great doubts about that man's manipulated body of work, by others with their own agendas.

I've included a link to David's blog and website for a non fear based interpretation of all that is already underway. He thinks that as far as catastrophic earth changes go, we've already seen/ experienced among the worst of it in recent years. It's a positive message of freeing the human mind and expanding human potential to the level that it once was.

    peace

ok, it predicts the space weather, but check the Alerts / Warnings section, it says 'updated: Oct 1, 2007'
But what do you say about the solar storm and its effects Paul?

The page was likely created on Oct 1, 2007, and no hard coding change has been made since then. All changes you see are acquired via database query.

I think (well, know) that large solar storms - specifically coronal mass ejections - can cause lots of damage to satellites, communications, power grids, and pretty much anything powered by electricity. The likelihood of a storm being large enough to do widespread/massive damage is very low, though still possible. I figure if it happens, it happens...not much can be done except to turn off power to the things that could be damaged the most. Even then, that would mean entire cities being blacked out for a few hours and all public transportation coming to a halt.

Overall, it's nothing to worry about. Just prepare like you would for a hurricane's aftermath (but don't board up your windows because that would be stupid).

If such storm happens, back to the stone age.
As for protection, i dont think turning off wont work, such powerfull electromagnetic flux will cause a current in circuits leading to an overvoltage, thus to infict damage.
As for not boarding up my windows, you could have told me before icon_smile.gif

Are you asking if I participate in the charade of representative government? No, I won't sanction that fraud by participating in it.

The incidents that I mentioned are only military installations. Civilian aviation has been disrupted by these phenomena as well. Ohare Airport was shut down for hours over a similar event. An enormous UFO in China, several square miles wide, shut down a busy airport for an entire day.

In the case of the ballistic missiles, perhaps it is a rival power demonstrating our vulnerability and their military superiority. It was just a few months ago that China is believed to have launched an ICBM out of the Port of Los Angeles; again as a demonstration of stealth, reach, and power.

Back to UFO's. I think the radical and irrational view, is that we are alone in the universe.

The issue with 2012 is a shaky one. The correct date of December 21, 2012 has been something more of ridicule lately and has turned into something of a popular joke. Most people who aren't knowledgeable or only know "of" the propaganda associated with the date, attaches 2012 with doom & gloom prophecies and say that the Mayan calender ends.

The Mayan civilization never said this

Also there was never a specific date, but most of what has been talked about of this date falls in the late 2011-2020 era. Past cultures such as the Mayan civilization, Egyptian, Dogon tribes of Africa, Asian, Indian Vedic and Zoroastrian cultures speak about this subject as well as the Precession of the Equinox, when the Earth's pole changes orientations. Actually take a pick. Every single culture in our past has some kind of attachment or story in the form of a myth related to this.

That has been steadily going on. The Schuman Resonance (like the Earth's heartbeat) has also been steadily climbing up for twenty years now.

These civilizations speak about Galactic Alignment, our Sun moving into the center of it's Milky Way galaxy equator. Our galaxy moves like a pin-wheel and the move is responsible for more higher-energetic occurrences or inter-dimensional climate change. Which is why, not only Earth is experiencing global warming but so are the planets in our solar system. Among other changes.

The ancient cultures who measured this, had calenders, a knowledge of astrology, astronomy, time, space, and a model of all of our planets while our science was just "discovering" them in the last century. They also believed the vehicle for this change (dark matter, orgone energy, light fluid, aether, torsion fields, "the light", Christ Consciousness, the Source field, whatever term they used in the past) would affect life and the planet itself. Evolution, ascension, apotheosis.

Every culture has talked about this in "their book." And every religion has stripped it of it's meaning and put a doom/gloom scenerio on it. Even the Bible. It's called the Golden Age. It's acted out on our dollar bill. And it's existed before the 2012 joke came along. Sure Jesus said that only God knows the world would end. That's something Christians always say to keep themselves in their own little comfort zone.

But 1) no one said the world was ending. And 2) this existed before what anyone pieced together and labeled as God in the first place.

Cliff note version: The past civilizations, cultures, religions before mainstream Christianity and other structured shit, viewed a time period, more likely measured as 2012 or later ( or even earlier ) as a Golden Age. It's a mockery because no one will sit down and read a book or get behind the issue that is.
