I ran track and field in college as a sprinter and hurdler. Not only do I workout and run alot, I have a very high metabolism which I guess causes me to have alot of lean muscle. However, I'm looking to get bigger and gain more muscle weight. Any suggestions on workouts I should do?

It's all about the diet if you want to gain muscle. You're pretty much going to have to go with more carbs and a lot of protein. Eat big to get big and whatnot regardless of metabolism.

As for lifting program, you run a lot, so ideally you are going to want to be stronger as well as bigger, then I recommend Nebraska's weight-lifting program. Nebraska's football program is rumored to have some of the biggest gains strength-wise and I've started out with a program from high school that is similar and I've also done their program with success, therefore I believe it does work.

Good luck and I hope that helps.

Eat frequently, high calorie, low fat snacks(dried fruit and nuts, yoghurts, smoothies, cereal bars, meal replacement bars, etc.)every two or three hours to keep you fueled up!
    Best wishes with your training!
