Hey guys, Im new here. I am seeking help, I am not shape anymore.. I am looking for someone to encourage me and motivate me. I am wanting to work out and lose weight and gain muscle (gaining muscle is easy for me). However, I have a hard time having the motivation to work out. If you are willing to help me please message me or something.. I will be posting up some pictures but I am a little chubby, and that is why im posting here because this is the only forum I have been able to find that is for "athletic" gay guys...

    Thanks,
    Julian

P.S. Im sorry if this is in the wrong sections a moderator can move it if you have too..

Many of the guys on my hotlist are also friends but it's also good for motivation. When I'm talking myself into missing my training for some lame reason or about to finish off an entire box of cereal at 2 a.m.I look at the guys on my hotlist and they keep me on track. Sometimes I look at other guys' hotlists too. For me at least, it really works. Good luck with your workouts

I've always felt that with all-things-exercise-and-diet-related, the first couple weeks is the hardest. You just have to force yourself into a routine. After a short while-- or at least this is the way I've always rolled-- within a couple weeks, I find my body is addicted to the good feeling and my mind actually craves the experience.

If you don't get back in shape, you will be doomed to eternal celibacy.
    How's that for motivation? icon_biggrin.gif

Thats a little bit of a downer, lol.

To the OP I am not gonna sugar coat nothing, at first you are gonna hate working out its gonna be tough, but gradually you will begin to enjoy it feeling stronger and powerful. And when you focus more on getting stronger than the day before you will see a transformation. Results will come slowly at first (which will aggrivate and piss you off). But keep at it no matter how hard it gets, the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities and for the love of all thats holy DO NOT BE ENVIOUS OF OTHERS PROGRESS! That will only agitate you more (truse me on this). Good luck to ya, pm me if you need to know anything. ^_*

Oh god, dude...don't jog just yet! Take it slow. Go for a fast-paced walk.
At your current weight and fitness level, jogging will only put unnecessary strain on your back.
Research g-forces and the effect they have on your body.
When you jog, your body's weight more than triples every time your foot hits the pavement.

<-- Pilot, very familiar with g-forces.
