dayumm saidI don't think the gun show guy will do time. He's probably liable via a civil trial or something, but Hotshot Poppa will be too ashamed and embarrassed (and rightfully so) to file a suit.
Love the defense going round-and-round on the "machine gun can be a firearm, but a firearm is not a machine gun" thing.
The defense on a machine gun being a firearm but a firearm not being a machine gun is freaking hilarious.
Very interesting case and it raises so many questions. I mean seriously. A kid with a mini machine gun? That's just an accident waiting to happen and clearly one did. They had a 15 year old inspect the gun before usage and that raises so more questions about the gun club and how apparently lenient they are in their rules. The gun show guy has some questions to answer in he should be held accountable for not throwing an age restriction on the show. Ultimately the father is the one who suffers for allowing his son to kill himself and watched it happen.
He's gotta be cursing himself.
