And so it begins... what do you think the odds are that Obama will remain President in 2012?

Hits pretty hard at the Obama Administration's weaknesses. There are those like metta8 who attack potential Republican nominees like Romney when the likelihood is that it is Obama's track record that will be up for debate.

Except Romney's experience includes outsourcing jobs while at Bain Capital, creating "Romneycare" and having the 2nd worst job creation record in the country while he was Governor. icon_lol.gif

The same sort of record that a number of other Bain executives have had who are Democrats? That said, I don't think it will matter terribly given how bad Obama's record is shaping up to be - "Obamacare", job creation record, foreign policy, ratings downgrade etc

Expect to see more ads like the above - direct, on point and memorable.

Plus people like Obama as a person. He still has high personal ratings, whereas I can't find a single person who likes Romney. In fact, Republicans seem to dislike him more than Democrats.

Good ad. We will see many more like that as well as spoofs and jokes. He'll get the Sarah Palin treatment big time. And with his thin skin, will be interesting to see what happens.

It doesn't matter who the 2012 president is. Every single person running will be part of the primary agenda to continue slowly eroding this country's freedoms until we're all fucking slaves with nanochips that control our minds.

Yes, polling is continuing trending down for Obama such that a generic Republican would win. Of course Obama isn't running against a generic Republican, but given how poorly he seems to have handled most of the big issues, it is starting to look like an uphill battle for him. Even Democrats are wishing they picked Hillary Clinton.

I think if the republicans don't start 'bagging' some more moderate people to run for office, then the TBaggers will again be the cause for them to lose even more popularity, this time though the race they will lose will be for Obama's 2nd term. TBaggers have pushed so far to the right that even all Republicans won't go along, to get along. Take a look at who the Baggers are offering up to the American Public as their most wanted. Bachman, Palin, Santorum and now Perry, I just don't know if Romney's being a Mormon will be acceptable to the Baggers even though he has declared "Corporations are People" in accordance with the Baggers Koch Bro's financiers.

So since we cannot have any confidence that TBaggers will have the good sense to moderate the republicans positions, then Obama will be our man.

Plenty of Democrats long ago wished that they'd picked Hillary Clinton.

I agree that Obama should be beatable — IF there were a Republican running who wasn't completely ridiculous.

    Well, there is one. Huntsman.

But no Republican who isn't completely ridiculous could get the nomination.

Believe it or not Clinton in the race would significantly shake up both power-bases so for once the average citizen can have some of his power restored.

Obama at this point is trying to raise enough money to try to run the biggest negative campaign in the history of the world.

I would have voted for Clinton 2008 over McCain only in that she really was more conservative and willing to have the right people around her.

So pray that Rahm Emanuel leaks out something so Obama bows out.
