    Hey all,

Helensburgh half marathon done in 1 hour 36 minutes 20 seconds - beating last years by 30 seconds!! Ach, come on, all those seconds count!! I'm really pleased as I was pushed to the limit - last 3 miles was spent boking (if anyone else has read my thread "when I run I make sick noises" then you'll see what I'm on about) and every bit of effort was ripped out of me! So I'm really chuffed to have got that time.

Next up: Coventry Half marathon on October 2nd. Anyone want to come to the UK and do this hilly marathon?

My PB for half marathons are 1 hour 35ms. When in the showers after, someone said their PB was 1 hour 31 - I immediately got jealous. As I'm approaching 40, can I get a faster PB if I improve the quality of my training, cut down on coffee (I am coffee's bitch and can drink 6 cups a day_and beer at weekends? Or is that it seeing I'm 40?

    Over to you guys!

My first and only half-marathon I ran in 1:28:23

This guy I run against ran 1:25 something, so it is possible, Ewan.
